Fishing Rods for Sales

I am selling 6 Daiwa Coastal Heavy Action Spinning Rods - Model # CL-CC 701HPS. These rods are 7 foot, heavy action and are all approximately a year old and in good condition. Retail on these is $72. I'm selling them for $36 each. I typically use these rods for my near shore reef fishing for kingfish. They could be used for snook or redfish as well...just a little heavier than the Daiwa Saltiga Medium action rods that I normally use inshore. Monthly Split Cost Charter Email November 2011

Please forgive all of my notifications about split cost fishing charters over the last month. I have been trying to come up with a system that effectively gets my customers "paired up" on split cost charters without bombarding you all with weekly notifications. The conclusion that I have come to is that, at the beginning of every month (starting now), I will send one email out to see who is interested in being notified about split cost charter opportunities over the next month. Then, when I have an inquiry, I will only go back to those who requested to be notified about the opportunity. So, if you are interested in a split cost charter during the month of November, please respond to this email so I can put you on the list. If you would always like to be contacted when there is a split cost charter opportunity, let me know and I will put you on the permanent list (in this scenario, you may be called several times a month).

Another difficulty that I have been trying to overcome on these type of trips is the increased logistics of putting them together. One inquiry may generate up to a half dozen emails and phone calls for me before the parties are squared away. Beyond this and more importantly, there is also twice the likelihood of a cancellation (as there are two parties involved). In this scenario, I am left with the choice of cancelling the trip (and potentially aggravating the remaining customer) or running a heavily discounted trip. So, in order to continue to provide this split cost charter service to my customers, I will need to charge an additional $25 to each side of the split. Thanks for your understanding.

Winter Trout Fishing Seminar November 3rd

This Thursday Evening, November 3rd, at 6:30PM, I will be giving a seminar on Winter Seatrout Fishing at West Marine / 1721 Gulf to Bay Blvd / Clearwater, Fl 33755. Tel 727 447-5320. Around Thanksgiving of every year, large seatrout invade our local flats and provide us with great action through the winter months. As the first cold fronts of the year are already upon us, it shouldn't be long before these big trout are here. The seminar will focus on where these trout are found as well as the tactics used to catch them. Remember to bring a recent "best catch" picture to be eligible for the West Marine Gift Card drawing.
