October 31st Split Cost Charter Opportunity

Fall Near Shore Reef Fishing

ThisThursday Evening, the 20th of October, I will be giving a seminar on near shore reef fishing at West Marine's St Pete store. The address is 2010 N.Tyrone Boulevard / St. Pete, Fl. 33710. Tel (727) 342-8001. Seminar start time will be 6PM. Fall is a great time for "smaller boat" anglers to take advantage of a variety of near shore game fish such as kingfish, spanish mackerel, bonita, shark, snapper and grouper. Topics discussed will include where these fish are as well as the tactics and tackle used to catch them. I look forward to seeing you there.

Split Cost Fishing Charter this Sunday

I just received a call from a young angler who wants to split a half day charter with someone this coming Sunday, the 16th. The tides are decent and the weather should be the best that we have had in several weekends. My guess is that the near shore bite should be good (mackerel, bonita, maybe a kingfish and / or grouper) as water temps have cooled. There may also be a few redfish around and depending on the weather, we might take a little time to look for them as well.. Based on the tides, we'll probably run the trip from 9AM - 1 PM. Cost for 1 angler would be $212.50. If you want to bring a friend, total cost would be $237.50. Please respond immediately if you have an interest.
