Split Cost Fishing Charters - May 2013

Big Summer Snook on Tampa Fishing Charter I have not offered to put together any split charters in the last few months as this spring has been extremely busy. Although business will be strong until mid July, I may have some days available for split charters in the coming months so, if you have an interest, please let me know the dates that you would like to go and for how many hours. The more flexible you are, the easier it will be to set up the charter.The cost for these split charters for one person is $237.50, $287.50 and $337.50 for 4, 6 and 8 hours respectively. If you would like to bring a second person on your side of the split, add $25 to these prices. The maximum number of people on the boat on any split cost charter will be 4 total.

Most trips in the last few weeks have yeilded combinations of snook, redfish and large seatrout. In many cases all three species have been caught in decent numbers. The seatrout bite will remain strong until the heat of summer, snook until mid to late July and redfish, with a little luck, will be around straight on through until October.

Seminar May 2013 - Snook Fishing

This Thursday Evening, May 2nd, at 6PM, at West Marine in Clearwater, I will be giving a seminar on catching snook. This my favorite local inshore game fish to catch as the angler must hone certain fishing skills and also learn the habits of these fish to succeed. May, June and July represent the best months to catch a trophy. Topics will include environments where these fish are found as well as the tactics used to catch them. As always, West Marine will provide free pizza and drinks and will give away a store certificate and some tackle. I look forward to seeing there.

Seminar April 2013 - Catching Bait

This Thursday Evening, April 4th at 6 PM, I will be giving a seminar on how to catch whitebait. Location will be at the West Marine Store on Gulf to Bay Boulevard in Clearwater. Discussion topics will include the various types of bait available, making chum, and the best bait locations. As always, West Marine will provide pizza and drinks as well as a few give aways, including a West Marine gift certificate. I look forward to seeing you there.
