This Thursday, October 6th, at 6:30PM, I will be giving a seminar on Near Shore Grouper and Snapper Fishing at West Marine in Clearwater. Store address is 1721 Gulf to Bay Boulevard / Clearwater, Florida 33755. With cooler weather approaching, these fish should be getting closer to the beaches by the day. By October, legal grouper are often quite available inside of ten miles and sometimes are just a mile or two out. With a little luck, we’ll also get a good push of mangrove snapper into our area this year as well. Topics discussed will include tackle required, tactics used as well as the types of structure where these fish can be found.
